1. Definitions

  • “Akommo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”: A brand of Destination Global S.L.U., Spanish company identified in Section 2.
  • “User”, “you”: Any person who accesses, browses, searches, or submits an enquiry through the Website.
  • “Client”: A User who contracts event services, venues, hotels, or suppliers through Akommo or as a result of an enquiry made via the Website.
  • “Website”: The site www.akommo.com.
  • “Hotels, Venues & Suppliers”: Hotels, conference venues, event venues, restaurants, catering companies, transport providers, audiovisual providers, staffing, decoration, furniture rental, floral arrangements, photography, videography, and other event-related service providers listed on the Website.
  • “Services”: Website features and modules, and also Akommo’s related services including but not limited to venue and supplier sourcing, hotel introductions, bookings, and consultancy.
  • “Listings”: Pages displaying information about hotels, venues, and suppliers.
  • “Providers”: The network of hotels, venues, and suppliers whether listed on the Website or referred by Akommo.

2. Identification

Destination Global, S.L.U., VAT ES64497027, registered in the Mercantile Registry of Barcelona (Volume 39605, Folio 8, Section 8, Page B351126, Entry 1).

Akommo is an intermediary and consultancy. We are not the owner or operator of the hotels, venues, or suppliers listed. Our role is limited to providing information, facilitating introductions, and managing event service enquiries and bookings where applicable.

Hotels, venues, and suppliers remain solely responsible for their own services, legal compliance, and contractual obligations.

3. Basic Terms

  • By accessing or using the Website, you accept these Terms in full.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • If using on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to act for that company.
  • Professional Use Only: The Website is intended for professional and corporate use. It is not designed for consumer or personal use.
  • Akommo may suspend, refuse, or terminate accounts at its sole discretion, with or without cause, and without liability.

4. Authorized Use

Users agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes, and specifically to:

  • Browse, search, create wishlists, and enquire about hotels, venues, and suppliers for legitimate event-related purposes.
  • Not use the Website for illegal or forbidden purposes, or in ways that infringe the rights or interests of third parties, including copyright or other applicable regulations.
  • Not engage in scraping, data-mining, bulk downloading, automated collection, reverse-engineering, or any misuse of data, content, or processes from the Website. Any such activity is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of access, civil action, and/or criminal prosecution where applicable.
  • Not intentionally bypass Akommo by concluding transactions or agreements directly with suppliers introduced through the Website. Such activity may result in suspension of accounts and/or legal action.

5. General Booking Terms

5.1 The Website

The Website allows professional event planners and users to browse, search, create wishlists, and make enquiries regarding hotels, venues, and suppliers.

  • Browsing listings does not require registration.
  • To create wishlists, save searches, or send enquiries, you must first register and create an account (“Akommo Account”).
  • The Website does not include an online payment platform. Payments, commissions, or contracts are governed separately by Akommo’s commercial agreements with clients and suppliers.
  • We may change, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website or its features at any time, without liability to Users or Suppliers.

5.2 Registration

  • Acceptance by Browsing: By accessing or browsing the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.
  • Acceptance by Registration: When registering for an Akommo Account, you will be asked to explicitly confirm your acceptance of these Terms. Confirmation of registration through email verification also constitutes acceptance.
  • Only one active account is permitted per User. Akommo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if multiple accounts are created, or if registration is attempted without proper authorization.
  • Users must provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information, and keep such information up to date.
  • All personal data provided is protected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5.3 Wishlists

  • Registered Users may create, build, and manage wishlists of hotels, venues, and suppliers for specific events.
  • Wishlists are private and not publicly visible on the Website.
  • Users are solely responsible for the content of their wishlists.
  • Users may make enquiries directly from their wishlists. Akommo will provide feedback, availability updates, and information from the relevant hotels, venues, or suppliers.
  • Enquiries and responses do not constitute binding offers; availability and pricing are subject to confirmation.

6. Payments & Fees

  • The Website does not process or collect payments directly from Users for bookings. All bookings and services are subject to separate contractual agreements, such as Akommo’s Event Sourcing Contract or Reseller Contract.
  • Akommo may earn commissions, service fees, or consultancy fees for confirmed bookings, introductions, or sourcing services. The applicable fees and payment terms will be specified in the relevant contract or agreement.
  • Users are solely responsible for all payments due to hotels, venues, and suppliers, as well as for any additional charges such as taxes, service charges, or surcharges imposed by those providers.
  • Any failure to make payments under an applicable contract may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of deposits or fees.

7. Enquiries & Bookings

  • The Website facilitates enquiries but does not finalize bookings directly.
  • Contracts for services are concluded directly between the Client and the hotel, venue, or supplier. Unless expressly agreed in a separate sourcing or reseller contract, Akommo is not a contractual party to such agreements.
  • Bookings, sourcing services, and supplier agreements are subject to separate contractual terms (e.g., Akommo’s Event Sourcing Contract or Reseller Contract). These prevail over the Website Terms where applicable.
  • Akommo may charge commissions, service fees, or consultancy fees on confirmed bookings, as agreed separately with clients or suppliers.
  • Akommo is not responsible for the performance, quality, or delivery of services by hotels, venues, or suppliers. All contractual obligations rest with them.

8. Listings & Content

  • Information on the Website is collected from publicly available sources or provided directly by hotels, venues, and suppliers. It is displayed in good faith and believed accurate when published.
  • Hotels, venues, and suppliers may request updates, corrections, or removal of their listing.
  • By submitting materials (photos, descriptions, logos), suppliers grant Akommo a worldwide, royalty-free license to use such content for display and marketing.
  • Akommo does not pre-screen or guarantee the accuracy, legality, completeness, or quality of supplier content.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Akommo is not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in listings.
  • We disclaim liability for damages arising from use of the Website, downtime, or linked third-party websites.
  • Akommo acts exclusively as an intermediary. We do not control, manage, or guarantee the performance, quality, safety, legality, or availability of hotels, venues, or suppliers. Users enter into contracts directly with those providers and assume all associated risks.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” No guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or absence of viruses.

11. Intellectual Property

  • All original content created by Akommo (texts, design, layout, data structures, workflows, booking flows, and platform processes) is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
  • Supplier-provided photos, descriptions, and logos remain their property but are licensed to Akommo for display and marketing.
  • Reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized commercial use of Akommo’s website, platform structure, business model, or proprietary processes is strictly prohibited.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by publishing the revised version on the Website. Continued use implies acceptance.

13. Privacy

Personal data will be collected and processed in line with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Spanish law applies. Any disputes will be resolved in the Courts of Barcelona.
