Doing Good Doing Well Selects Akommo as Accommodation Provider

Even though January has come and gone, there has already been a great deal of change at Akommo this year so far. The team has expanded with two new members, and we’ve created a brand new partnership with the Barcelona-based Doing Good Doing Well Conference. Europe’s largest student-organised conference on the topic of responsible business and sustainability has named Akommo as their Official Accommodation Provider for 2018.

Joining Forces

Akommo has been providing corporate event accommodation in Barcelona, Cannes, and other major European cities since 2007. This year we are assisting with accommodation for the attendees and speakers of the Doing Good Doing Well conference. This conference is the perfect precursor to the world-famous, Mobile World Congress.

This conference will host some of the most influential speakers in the sustainable development industry. Some of them will be representing major corporations such as PepsiCo, La Fageda, Ashoka (a non-profit organization) and, Anheuser-Busch InBev just to name a few. The Akommo team has been hard at work providing accommodation for speakers of this year’s edition.

Doing Good Doing Well Lineup

This student-run conference organised by the Responsible Business Club of IESE Business School has been an annual occurrence since 2004.

This conference is forward-thinking in its approach to promoting sustainable business development, with the goal of ending poverty in mind. What’s more, the conference is run by driven students inspired to change the world.

The event consists of speeches from 2018’s promising lineup of keynote speakers. There will be panels that will address impact investing, responsible value chain, and other topics related to sustainable business.

The Mustard Seed Competition from Doing Good Doing Well 2017 will return! Participating students can win the opportunity to further their chances of becoming an investable enterprise. They will be invited to a business plan workshop held by the early-stage ventures investment company, Mustard Seed.
