Spotify activates a major brand presence at Cannes Lions each year, hosting executives, artists, and VIP guests across a week of talks, activations, and private events. For 2025, Akommo served as the integrated concierge and on-site logistics partner, embedded with Spotify's operation from pre-event planning through post-event reconciliation.

Challenges
Spotify needed a trusted team physically on the ground in Cannes, people who knew the city, the supplier market, and how to move fast under festival-week pressure. Last-minute VIP changes, concurrent workstreams across transport, hotels, styling, and entertainment, and the need to vet local vendors at speed left zero margin for error.
Our Solution
Akommo deployed a dedicated 3-person team embedded with Spotify for the full event week, backed by 20 days of pre-event hotel management and VIP coordination planning.
On-site, the team ran five premium Mercedes vehicles (four V-Class vans and one S-Class) with bilingual drivers on exclusive standby, sourced and managed three backstage stylists across 3.5 days, and prepared personalised gift packages of flowers, macarons, Aesop products, and Bose headphones for every VIP room. Real-time supplier payments across hotels, restaurants, stylists, and transport were handled on Spotify's behalf, with 24/7 English-speaking support for VIP guests and Spotify's EA team throughout the festival and full financial reconciliation after wrap.
