Amsterdam is a city most famous for its endless canal systems and coffee shops, but there is so much more than that. Once the wealthiest city in the Western world, it served as a massive port city and was also a major financial center. Today, the beautiful houses, unique architecture, and lush gardens make Amsterdam one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. Add to that bicycles, cars, trams, busses, boats, and pretty much every other mode of transportation you’ve ever seen, and you’ve got a unique little system that is constantly on the move. In addition to tourism, there’s also been a rise in corporate events held in Amsterdam. So, we are here to share  some of our tips with you!

3. ORGANISE ACOMMODATION IN ADVANCE

Because Amsterdam is such a popular city, hotels and flats tend to book up quite quickly. Waiting until the last minute will almost guarantee you a hotel on the outskirts of the city, and it will most likely be two or three times the price. Try and get your final headcount months in advance; you may even be able to reserve a block of rooms at the same location.

4. INCLUDE SOME LEISURE TIME

Since Amsterdam is such an exciting city, you’ll want to set aside some time for your team to enjoy it. Plan for some leisure time that will allow everyone to get out and discover the culture and all the city has to offer. The city is rich in history, and there are so many amazing museums to visit.
