Akommo into Social Business and CSR

At Akommo, we’ve always been social. We’re friendly with our partners. We’re connected and active on social networks. Now we are also getting socially involved in charity and social causes. See our last post about CSR and why it helps our business grow.

Philanthropy is near and dear to all the hearts of everyone on the Akommo team. We completely agree with the famous Uruguayan journalist Eduardo Galeano, that there is always an opportunity to do good:

OK, OK, great quote... but what have you been up to lately?

Well for instance, let’s talk about this HUGE event coming up in Barcelona - where our office is based - in early November: la Carrera de la Mujer (or, “the Women’s Run”, the equivalent of the Race for Life in the UK, a women-only events raising funds for cancer research). All of the women in our Akommo team (apart from Kira, our dear Golden Retriever, who is more into eating than working out...) are going to run alongside with 29,000 others, to create this impressive pink wave:
