Located in the heart of the old fisherman village of Cannes, Tredici offers traditional Italian dishes at an affordable price. The restaurant is cozy and has a lovely terrace that locals enjoy during the warmer months of Cannes. If a relaxed environment while grabbing a bite to eat with the team is the request, then this family-run eatery is the spot! Although “tredici” means 13 in Italian, by separating it into “trés d’ici” the meaning becomes “very local” and it refers to the products they use! This is a must for anyone staying near the Suquet.
13 Square Merimee
Just 2 minutes from the Palais des Festivals, this French bistro makes for the perfect business lunch spot while attending a Cannes congress. La Potiniere offers a superb set menu for both lunch and dinner coming in at less than 35 euros a person! The quality of the food is authentic, the service is incredibly friendly, especially in the heart of Cannes, and the wine is, well, it’s French wine; what’s not to love? Make a reservation during all Cannes conferences!
15 Rue Du Vingt-Quatre Août
Located right next to the famous Rue Hoche, La Meissouniere is obligatory for anyone who is trying to accommodate a large group with different preferences. This Cannes restaurant offers elaborate dishes, from the traditional Foie Gras to vegetarian dishes with quinoa, providing options for everyone. They offer a menu of the day for just 22 euros as well!
20 Rue du Commandant Vidal
Without a doubt, Au Pot de Vin is the closest one can get to a local atmosphere in Cannes. This family-run restaurant is famous for its incredible selection of reasonably priced bottles and glasses of French wines, from Burgundy to Bordeaux. Best of all, the food is prepared with high-quality ingredients and in a speedy fashion. Their service is warm and friendly (this is to be valued heavily in Cannes), and they are passionate about their products!
5 Rue Notre Dame
Because of the prime location, this is the most popular restaurant next to the Notre Dame Cathedral. What’s more is they are renowned for their delicious and affordable meat. The service makes you feel like you’re dining with friends, and the quality of the food is undeniable. Great spot for groups as the kitchen brings out the food quickly!
