AI Week Barcelona 2026 is scheduled to run September 14 to 29, with the city's side-event calendar centering around the flagship AI Summit Barcelona, held September 22–23 at WTC Barcelona (World Trade Center Barcelona). Now in its second edition, the summit dubbed "Europe's most experiential AI event" is a week-long takeover under the tagline "One week, the whole city." The event is poised to bring together an expected 10,000+ builders, founders, researchers and industry leaders for a two-day hackathon (HackBarna), a flagship two-track summit with seven content tracks and 200+ speakers, and more than 50 community-hosted side events spread across coworking spaces, Barcelona rooftop venues, studios and startup hubs all over the city.
As you've come to expect from Akommo, our aim is to give you the most complete AI Week Barcelona 2026 guide featuring every confirmed side event, hackathon, dinner, panel and rooftop mixer tied to the week, organized by day, with hosts, locations, timings and sign-up links in one place. As with our Cannes Lions Party List coverage, Akommo isn't affiliated with AI Summit Barcelona; we're an accommodation and venue-sourcing partner for teams attending, and we track the calendar because our clients ask for it constantly. We'll keep updating this list as more events get confirmed or open registration, so bookmark it and check back.
If your team is heading to Barcelona for the week and still needs a base, that's exactly what we do! Reach out to Akommo and we'll handle the venue and accommodation sourcing while you focus on the calendar below.
