In 2017, Barcelona reached a staggering 80 million visitors per year, and predictions are calling for even more in the next coming years. 2018 was a huge year for Barcelona, with over 5 new hotels popping up all over the city. The first of the new hotels in Barcelona is located directly in the heart of the city, with views of one of Barcelona's most iconic landmarks - the Santa Caterina Market. This 100-room hotel has just recently opened its doors in the summer 2018, and makes for one of the most luxurious hot spots in the city. The Edition Barcelona offers a gorgeous signature restaurant, club, and bespoke cocktail bar, as well as an outdoor rooftop pool and fitness centre. After nearly a year of being open, The Edition Barcelona still has so much left to be discovered by both locals and foreigners alike.
Bar Veraz - The reception is connected to the all-day kitchen, preparing signature cocktails, serving local vermouth and beer, and a wide selection of over 30 wines! Not to mention, you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this stunning hotel bar.
CABARET - This is a truly one-of-a-kind experience to be had in Barcelona. As you might have imagined, CABARET offers an exhilarating supper club experience complete with a dinner and show provided by the famous Ibiza entertainment company, Manumission. Enjoy a monochromatic tasting menu prepared by the famous chef Sebastián Mazzola (chef of Bar Veraz, as well) who has gained world-wide fame for his flavourful and creative dishes. The One Rooftop Dining
Home to one of the most breathtaking rooftop bars in Barcelona – Mood Rooftop – this new hotel opened in 2017 but still remains undiscovered to many. The One is part of the H10 Hotels Group, offers 89 rooms total, and is located in the heart of the Eixample neighbourhood in Barcelona. What's more, the rooftop at this new Barcelona hotel offers some of the most gorgeous sunsets in Barcelona. Nominated for "Best urban hotel in Spain" by Condé Nast Traveler, The One Barcelona is certainly a 5* hotel that you don't want to miss.
Mood Rooftop - This gorgeous rooftop bar and restaurant has gained a reputation for offering some of the tastiest rooftop bites in the city. During the winter months they make the most of their rooftop and offer an indulgent Swiss fondue experience from the 17th of January through the 3rd of March. The normal hours for enjoying this rooftop are from 11am-6pm starting on April 3rd, 2019.
Somni Restaurant - If you're in the mood for good food, great service, and fine-dining, this restaurant is a great option for all of you who seek upscale experiences. From fresh seafood, to duck-stuffed cannelloni, this restaurant has delicious options for expensive tastes.

The Almanac Barcelona opened its doors in November 2017 but celebrated their official grand opening just last month. The iconic Renaissance Hotel will release 77 completely renovated rooms out of the 211 total. This 5-star hotel is known for being centrally located, between some of Barcelona's most iconic architectural masterpieces, such as the Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, and the famous Passeig de Gracia walking street. Soon the former Gran Hotel Torre Catalunya will undergo renovations to become the brand new Nobu Hotel Barcelona, just a short distance from the famous Plaza d'Espanya.
